RA NA President Receives the Ambassador of Cuba

On November 6 the RA NA President Hovik Abrahamyan received the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the RA Valdes Figueroa on the completion of his diplomatic mission.

The NA President highlighted the development of relations between Armenia and Cuba, the activation of inter-parliamentary cooperation and the enlivening of trade-economic ties. Hovik Abrahamyan noted that Armenia-Cuba Parliamentary Friendship Group had been formed in the Armenian Parliament.

Thanking for reception the Ambassador of Cuba also deemed necessary the activation of cooperation in different directions. He highlighted the development of the inter-parliamentary relations, as well as the cooperation in the spheres of culture, tourism, pharmacy, healthcare and in other spheres.

The NA President expressed confidence that returning to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, the Ambassador would continue to make contribution in the further development of Cuba-Armenia relationship. The Ambassador Valdes Figueroa ensured him that from now on he would do his best for developing the Armenian-Cuban relations.

In the course of the meeting other issues were also discussed.
